Morocco: Al Houara Golf Club in Tangier opens its doors officially

Al Houara Golf Club, located on the Atlantic side of Tangier city in the North of Morocco, was officially inaugurated yesterday, with the participation of the renowned golf architects Graham Marsh and Vijay Singh, who architected this Golf course as well.

The event witnessed the attendance of Qatari Diar representatives Mr. Waleed Al Kaldari and Mr. Mohammed Al Suwaidi; The Qatari company which stands behind this golf course as part of the whole project in the area called Al Houra Resort.

As part of the promotion of the Golf Club, Al Houara Golf Club organized initiatives for young, amateurs, and VIP professional players under the aegis and supervision of Graham Marsh and Vijay Singh.

Al Houara Golf Club covers more than 110 hectares on the seafront of the Atlantic coast between Tangier and Assilah. The golf course consists of a magnificent 18-hole course and a 9-hole lighted compact course, designed for training beginners and experienced players. The driving range consists of a dozen carpeted practice areas and forty grassy areas.

Also, a pitching workshop around composed of bunkers, a 2000 square meter putting green, and a chipping green, all light at night.
